Planning and programming
Broadcast planning with day and week views, separate planning for items and news, a studio view for the show currently on air, freely configurable broadcast slots and dayparts.
Content and editorial work
Items and news with a rich text editor, speaking time calculation, a status system you define yourself, AI-supported content creation, free text fields for station-specific adjustments and direct booking onto broadcast slots.
Promotions, campaigns and appointments
Promotions and campaigns in four views (list, week, month, year), linked to items, appointments and prize winners. Central schedule with calendar import and drag & drop.
AI inside the editorial workflow
AI for radio stations that does not run as a separate tool but sits directly in the working process: start tasks with configurable prompts, add sources, take results straight into an item or a news story and book them onto a broadcast slot. Brand voices keep the tone specific to your station.
Prize handling and contacts
Record and manage competition winners, link them to promotions, export as CSV. Contact management with tags, notes and files.
Dashboards and internal mailings
Freely configurable dashboards with widgets. Internal messaging system with scheduled delivery.
Administration and configuration
Permission groups, user management, departments, categories, free text fields, public holidays. The system adapts to your station – not the other way round.
Managing several programmes from one interface
For broadcasting groups, station groups and networks, RADIOPLANUNG offers the channel principle: several programmes are managed centrally – one login, one instance. Content can be created across channels, distributed and then processed locally.
For groups and networks with several locations, the Sharing Center is available: content is exchanged across stations, with automatic change tracking. Separate instances with their own subdomains are also possible.
Pricing for broadcasting group and network setups depends on the number of channels, instances and users. We will gladly prepare a custom quote.
Optional extensions for specific requirements

Synthetic voices (ElevenLabs)
Text-to-speech connection for AI-generated audio content, for example weather presentation scripts. You use your own ElevenLabs account, we provide the integration.
Weather Dashboard
Current weather data as individual tiles, AI-generated weather presentation scripts for several regions, with audio if required. Can be run on a rolling basis, for example by nationwide stations.
Interface to playout systems
Content is passed directly to playout systems such as Radio.Cloud or DABiS800 – with no manual export.
API access with write permissions
Read access via API is included as standard. With write permissions you can connect external systems directly to RADIOPLANUNG and automate processes.
Single sign-on (SAML2)
Connection to Microsoft authentication for central user management.
External services
For example automatic news delivery from various sources via API or (s)FTP connection.
Frequently asked questions about pricing and licences
How does the station licence work?
You pay a fixed monthly price based on the number of users at your station. There are no individual licences per workstation. All modules and AI functions are included.
Is support included during rollout?
Yes. Setup includes configuring the system and an introduction for your team. Our support is available for questions during day-to-day operation.
What does the “from” price mean?
Every quote is individual. The “from” price is the entry price for that user tier with the full range of functions. Depending on configuration and extensions, the price may differ.
Is there a setup fee?
Yes. A one-off setup fee applies for the initial setup, configuration and introduction within your team. The amount depends on the scope.
Can I leave out modules to lower the price?
In principle, all modules are part of the station licence. If you do not need certain modules, we can adjust the price accordingly within reason.
Can I add users or extensions later?
Yes. You can move up to a larger user tier at any time or add optional extensions, such as additional channels, the Sharing Center or an interface to your playout system.
Is there a minimum contract term?
The term is agreed individually. Talk to us and we will find a fair arrangement.
Can I try the system first?
Yes. After a short presentation we set up a free test environment where you can explore RADIOPLANUNG in depth.
Are AI functions included in every package?
Yes. The AI Hub with prompts, brand voices and content creation is part of every station licence. Unlike external AI tools, the AI is integrated directly into the editorial workflow, from the source through the result to booking onto a broadcast slot. To use it you need your own OpenAI API access; those costs are billed directly by OpenAI.
Are different AI models available?
At present the system uses OpenAI as its interface, plus ElevenLabs for text-to-speech. Further models will follow shortly.
Where is the data stored?
RADIOPLANUNG is cloud-based and operated in German data centres. Data processing is GDPR-compliant.
